(no subject)
Hello livejournal world..
Where to begin..so much has happened since I updated a month ago. Classes started, I'm extremely busy as I thought I would be. Work has been going great, at least for me that is. One of the girls "left," she was actually forced out because she didn't want to do sales and they didnt have a reason to keep her position. I'm not sure what that means for my future here, but I did alot more than her (copywriting, art direction, etc) so hopefully they'll still need me for awhile.
I booked my trip to Vegas!! I'm so excited! We're staying at the Planet Hollywood hotel from a Friday to a Wednesday AND we purchased our tickets for LOVE (the Beatles cirque du soleil show). I need a vacation so badly! It's going to be amazing!
Anndd I kind of have a boyfriend. Acutally not kind of, I definitely do lol. It all happened so fast! I guess that's how it always works though, when you least expect to meet someone, you do and everything just seems to work out. I'm going to Philly with him for his friend's birthday this weekend, which should be fun. I always have fun when I hang out with him and his friends (except for the drunk ones that hit on me..). He's completely different from John, which is a GREAT thing. I just need to be with someone right now who wants to have a good time and be social, because that's where I'm at right now. Although we do sit around by ourselves watching movies and hanging out alot, but thats ok to do as long as we go out with people at least once over the course of the weekend lol.
My dad had a really serious surgery a week and a half ago. He needed to have about 6 inches of his esophagus removed from his chest and his stomach pulled up and attached to the rest of it. Pretty gross. But its better than having cancer, which was likely had they not done the procedure. He just came back from the hospital yesterday and is already eating solid foods. It's going to take 3 to 6 months to recover though..which means he can't work.
Oh yes, and i got my NOSE PIERCED a few weeks ago with Michelle. It was going fine until I got sick and it got all irritated from the stuffy nose. I've been usuing warm compresses to try and get it back to normal, so hopefully I won't have a scar because of a stupid illness.
Well I supposed I should get back to work. I'll probably update again in a month after Vegas.
