QUESTIONS
Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Barney/Robin)
I am just legit still hung up on Ted/Robin. I get what the writers were doing making Seasons 1 and 2 all about their relationship because they genuinely cared for each other but at the time it just wasn't right. However I still have this delusional hope that Robin will somehow end up as Ted's significant other, but only after both of them go through a lot of growth and development. And also I didn't think the way they developed Barney/Robin was legit. I thought it was all from Barney's POV and they tried too hard to push him having feelings for Robin, while still trying to keep him as the comic relief playboy character, and we never saw Robin begin to have feelings for him either. So.. I just don't see it working on any level other than friends with benefits.
Who is someone you know that ships #14? (Kurt/Blaine)
Haha, a lot of people I know ship this.
What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Artie/Quinn)
Well, I really do love Artie and Brittany together on the show. I think they're really cute. But then again Quinn clearly just needs a lot of emotional help these days :| So since apparently the writers are so dead set on pushing the Brittana storyline I think it'd be cute if Quinn and Artie somehow ended up commiserating all "well my two friends are now dating so I am forever the third wheel, oh and sorry your girlfriend was cheating on you, hey you're kind of cute, maybe we should go to Breadstix, oh and a gentleman always pays for the first date" and stuff that'd be pretty legit.
Which is your favorite moment for couple #1? (Quinn/Santana)
I am genuinely torn between the sexting incident in Season 1 and the girlfight incident in Season 2. But I might have to go with the girlfight incident because it gave us all
this.
How long have you been following couple #6? (Ron/Hermione)
SINCE FOREVER AND A HALF AGO. Um, in all seriousness though, probably since Prisoner of Azkaban. I just love them, the end.
What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Dan/Serena)
Um, they became technically siblings. And that is kind of a dealbreaker for me (um, with one exception which we will talk about later...). But actually it's more that they became so annoying and wrong together that it was like "okay, everyone just needs to move on."
You have the power to make one ship non existent. Choose from #10 or #12: (Chuck/Blair or Puck/Quinn)
Puck/Quinn, easy. Ugh. It just needs to get away. And if Glee seriously ends up trying to romanticize the fact that he got her drunk so he could sleep with her by having them be endgame, I will be legitimately done for good.
Which ship do you prefer #2 or #4? (Finn/Quinn or Phil/Claire)
Finn/Quinn in Season 1 were really legit. They were probably my first Glee ship. But Phil/Claire are just puddles of cute and they have a great relationship. Plus they've been together for a long time and are still crazy for each other. So them.
What interests you about #14? (Kurt/Blaine)
Kurt is infinitely less annoying to me when he is with Blaine. i mean, really, I don't want him to come back to New Directions. (UNPOPULAR OPINION? STOP READING MY JOURNAL THEN.) But Blaine kind of tempers all of his annoyingness for me. Or maybe that is just Kurt maturing as a character, but I'm sure his maturation is also at least partially helped by his relationship with Blaine. I don't fully ship this though because Blaine has started bothering me too with his ubiquity, though I don't dislike him. I'm glad they got together, though I feel like it was a little rushed in that one episode (though I thought the build-up over the season has been good).
Why did you stop liking #7? (Will/Emma)
Because Will is a creep and Emma has turned into this pathetic character who uses people with seemingly no regard for their feelings. And apparently she has to have a marriage subplot every season. I just feel really bad for Carl. He genuinely cared about her and Emma is just leading him on. If she is that hung up on Will she should probably think twice before leading people on to that extreme. It's one thing to date other people but another thing altogether to actually go that far. They used to be kind of cute so it's sad.
Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show? (Brittany/Santana)
We'll see what happens since it's not yet 100% that they are going to go this route. I would want it to be legitimately developed though. I am still mad that Santana has been conning Brittany into cheating on Artie and there are so many other ways their relationship could have been developed, but that's all things I've said many times already. But right now i just can't ship them.
What’s a song that reminds you of #5? (Ted/Robin)
"Don't You Want Me". Can't you picture Ted singing it while he's trying to make it rain? haha.
If you could have any of these two pairings double-date, who would it be?
I think Artie/Quinn and Phil/Claire should double date because there are a lot of similarities between the two couples in my head. And seriously, Claire Dunphy is Quinn Fabray in 20 years.
Have #2 kissed yet? (Finn/Quinn)
Pilot episode, what up.
Did #4 have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely? (Phil/Claire)
The entire show is their happy ending and it's awesome.
What would make you start shipping #13? (Chuck/Serena)
Okay, yes, I am a giant hypocrite because they are technically siblings too, but they are seriously hilarious when they are all a-banter and besides, I feel like Serena could totally make him pay for attempting to get on her in the pilot. She is all feisty with him as opposed to the other dudes on the show. I don't think I would ever actually legitimately ship this but it would be a really amusing subplot for a few episodes.
If only one could happen, which would you prefer, #2 or #6? (Finn/Quinn or Ron/Hermione)
:| Um, great, I don't even know. They are my two canon OTPs of their respective fandoms so I am torn. However, I feel like I have so many other Quinnships as opposed to how I don't ship Ron/Hermione with anyone else so I'd have to go that way.
You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them? (Chuck/Blair)
They both realize that they're just really volatile (and not in a good way) together and just kind of emotionally abusive and call it a day on their relationship. The end.
Which of these ships do you love the most?
Quinn and Santana's unrequited and unrealized sexual tension, love, and adoration for each other explain so much of Glee as a show. Seriously, think about it. They keep getting with each other's boys and they clearly were friends prior to the events of the show, so there is a lot of unexplored potential there. Besides, when Sam tried to get with Quinn her first thought was that she needed to get Santana off of her back (oh really, Quinn). And then when Santana got drunk at Rachel's party she basically wrote a giant list of all of Quinn's appealing qualities. They are in love and I don't care what you have to say about it. Plus think about how pissed Sue would be if her two head cheerios ended up together. It'd be hilarious. I also feel like they have more of a relationship of equals as opposed to any other ship they would be involved in. We see them always bossing other people around and the other person just takes it (e.g., Finn/Quinn, Brittany/Santana) and I feel like while they would probably fight a lot because they both wouldn't take each other's shit, they would also respect that they are a lot alike and realize that they need each other. Besides, Santana is a lizard and needs something warm under her otherwise she can't digest her food. And she is sad Quinn didn't have a lizard baby. SANTANA WANTS QUINN TO HAVE HER BABIES. THERE IS NO OTHER EXPLANATION.
