Curtains close~~~
Hey everyone. So I've finally figured out that attempting to hang on to lj is just not a feasible option; it's, at least for me (and judging by my flist it's the same for the majority of you), become a dead space, and I'm just not in a mindframe where I journal anything anymore! I think it's time for me to pack my stuff and close up shop, at least for the foreseeable future.
This doesn't mean anyone has to unfriend me! I'll still keep it active and I'll stay logged in to check various comms and my flist. But in terms of me posting on lj, it's probably a pipe dream.
Here are some things you might be interested in if you're poking around these parts:
- My ao3 page and my other ao3 page (they're linked accounts, but I separated some older stuff off)
- my email is ginandironic@gmail.com in case anyone wants to get a hold of me!
Livejournal had been a constant in my life since around 2001 with very few hiatuses. Considering what the site's become, how few people are active here now, and what tumblr has done to reshape fandom (eughhhhh, my feelings about that are not all good), I don't think there's much chance of it going back to what it was~~~. I hope we can all reconnect in some other medium. Don't hesitate to email me or comment if you want to stay in touch!
