United Airlines to add $25 surcharge for extra checked bags
Canadian and U.S. travellers flying with United Airlines will be charged $25 US each to check their second bags if they aren't members of the airline's frequent flyer program. (...) Frequent flyers with the airline have travelled at least 40,000 kilometres a year.

Well, this is a pitiful start to my Tuesday. Looks like I won't be flying United again, unless the company is paying.
