New bus pass day

Nov 29, 2005 22:52

After work today, I went to the Charles St. Terminal to purchase a bus pass for the month of December (since the UW bus pass only runs to November 30). I gave my photo ID to the cashier. She verified my photo and inserted the new pass into one side of my yellow "bus pass wallet". Then she returned the pass to me.

As I left the wicket, I noticed that she had rotated my photo ID 180 degrees so that the first line of text is now at the edge of the wallet (inside of adjacent to the crack). Is there a right way and a wrong way to mount your photo ID inside the wallet? Was mine upside down for the last three months? Or did she just rotate the ID so that she could read it.

I can't decide if I like the new orientation of my photo ID. It just doesn't seem...right...for the photo to be in this direction. Maybe I'll leave it like this for a few days just to see if I get used to it or not.

Yes, I do spend a lot of time thinking about trivial things like this.
