For those of you who live in the Whitehall or Montague area, I hope you realize how beautiful our community really is. I was going for a drive today and I decided to head down by the lake (both lakes). I rounded the corner and went up the hill going to the pier. Right as I got to the top of the hill, I saw Lake Michigan for the first time in months. It was so beautiful. I also noticed how all the trees are just coming to life. I rolled the windows down and let the warm breeze run through my hair and turned the radio up. I was listening to name by the goo goo dolls. What a great song to listen to when you're driving. Try it (not necessarily with the same song), it will make you feel so good inside. I turned back around and drove down scenic drive by White Lake. It was seriously so beautiful. If there is any more proof to God's existance it lies right in our community. The untouched parts (though there are very few now) of our community are so cool, I wish more people could experience this. I also wish that our society just took the time to slow down. I really wanted to just get out and go for a walk and take it all in. But, I felt rushed because I had to get back to school. Isn't it always something though? We're always rushing around trying to get things done because we won't make a certain deadline or we won't please somebody. It's sad, because God created such a beautiful thing for us to enjoy, but we are too busy rushing around to truly enjoy it. Someday I'll take the time to go for a walk, I hope I keep someone waiting too.
Oh, and after that song was over "you don't know how it feels" by tom petty came on. How ironic, I felt so at home again haha.

Well, that was my earthy side coming out. This rarely happens. Now I must abuse the environment by printing out 14 pages for my two papers. Yay school!!! ........not.
