Ow. My head hurt and arms and legs felt weird. I was a vampire, I wasn't supposed to wake up with a hang over. Wait, I didn't remember getting drunk last night. Wait, I don't drink, well I drink, just not alcohol. Speaking of drinking, I was hungry. I frowned and opened my eyes. What was going on? I sat up and looked around the lobby of the Hyperion and then I remembered.
Oh yeah, Angel sent me in here to steal some kid, but that dummy Buffy tricked me by asking questions. Stupid slayer. She thinks she's so smart. She must have knocked me out! I hate her. I always hated her, but...a lot more now. I listened, with my super vampire hearing, but I didn't hear anyone. It was so fun being a vampire, I could always hears guys talking about how hot I was across the room. I smiled and stood up.
Then I frowned. My dress was wrinkled and there was a spot of blood on it! That makes me so mad! This was a brand new dress and it was expensive. It's not like I was made of money, you know! Angel was a pretty cheap boss! I could hardly ever afford more than two pair of Jimmy Chu's at a time. I sighed and decided Angel could make up for that by paying for the dry cleaning bill.
I wondered where everyone was. That Fred was gone and Buffy was gone and they'd just left me on the floor. How rude! I mean, I wouldn't have left them! Well, maybe Buffy and...ok, Fred, too. But I would have at least woke up Fred. She was nice I guess, even if she wasn't the best dresser. I shrugged and walked out of the hotel. Angel was gone, too. Great. I was stranded. Just great. I went back inside and called a car to pick me up to take me to the office.
