I've been kinda dizzy for the last couple of days. I'm not sure what that's all about. I went for short bike ride today, and it was fun, but maybe that was party because I felt like I was floating. It's sortof a fevery type dizzy, though I don't think I actually have a fever (I haven't taken my temperature). It may just be from sleeping a lot, and not getting out enough. That's another thing, I can't seem to stop sleeping. My days are basically 12 hours awake 12 hours asleep at this point. It's weird. But, whatever, we'll see how this develops in the next couple of days. If you stop hearing from me, you might want to come by my place and see if a strange smell is emanating from the windows, heh.
I've been watching a lot of TV. It's kinda fun, because this is the first year in a long, long time that I've been able to actually have time to check out some of the new shows. Reaper seems really cool, and I like Chuck as well. And Back to You is fun so far. Oh, and Pushing Daisies is awesome (that one hasn't aired yet, I downloaded the pilot a while ago). I'm still going to check out a few that sound interesting.
One thing I think I've realized is that it's hard for me to really get into a show when it's first on. I think I almost prefer letting it have it's first season, see how the critics like, and whether it stays on the air, and then catching up on the whole season over the summer. That way I can get to know the characters quickly, and see where the plotlines are going. I guess it's just easier for me to get attached that way. Otherwise I'm like - who are these people, and why am I watching this again? Oh, another show I almost forgot that looks promising is Aliens in America. Actually, the CW has several shows that look good, which is pretty impressive for them, since their first year was pretty abysmal, what with canceling most of their new shows, and ruining all of the old ones they had.
Anyhow.
I'm working on the Lego Millennium Falcon. It's coming along pretty well, though I'm not even halfway done. Maybe getting close to a quarter of the way there. I was thinking about taking progress photos, just because I think it would be funny. I can't let this take too long, though, because it's pretty much taken over my living room. Also, finding pieces can get a little frustrating, because it can be a little like trying to find a needle in a haystack. But I'm enjoying it.
I'm trying to cut back on smoking. I've only had two today, which is pretty good. Considering I'm not feeling well, and cigarettes make me feel even less well, I feel that this is a good life choice for me. Now if only I could eat a few more fruits and vegetables once in a while.
Also, I'm starting to catch up a little on my Entertainment Weeklies. I'm still about 19 issues behind, which means I'm just reading about Pirates of the Caribbean coming out. They're still interesting, because they tell you a lot of things you wouldn't know otherwise, but the new issue I get each week taunts me, and it's a little disheartening that those issues will be passe by the time I get to them. I mean, Jim and Pam were on the cover this week *le sigh* Speaking of The Office, how come all the good shows are on Thursday? I mean, I like shows on other days, but most of the ones I'm obsessed with right now are on Thursday. Annoying.
And, last, there are ever more centipedes in my apartment. They must reach maturity in the fall or something. I hadn't seen any adults for quite a while, but I'm seeing bigger ones all the time now. I've killed three in the last week, two of which were crawling across my bedroom ceiling. At least I'm up there to kill them, though. They don't freak me out as much as they used to, but I still kill them the second I see them.
Ok, I think this is enough mundanity for now. Hope everyone else is doing well.
