wet dream

Last night I dreamt that I was in a human slaughter house. It had been completely designed in a warehouse downtown in the industrial area. There were all kinds of people doped out and standing in this line which was on a conveyer belt that was feeding people through this machinery. Upon entering the machinery, the humans were scanned with a laser and measurements were submitted to the master machine and sent out to other individual machines. The first machine was a pair of vertical saws that received the information from the master. They would then (in collaboration with the measurements received) move in towards each other and down from the top of the machine in the most concise manner to cleanly slice the arms off at the end of the collar bone, just before the ball joints of the shoulders. The sides of the walls were like thickly over coated racing stripes, brown and red like a luring pathway to the next set of blades which were also dual, but horizontal. Silver and reddish brown swirling sirens designed to sever in at the ankle from the front, so the body would fall forward in preparation for the next set of life takers.

I was standing on the belt, everything hazy yet clear at the same time. My hair had huge chunks shaven out of it, to the scalp, and I only had long strips of hair hanging from my head in random places like some fucked up barbie doll. My body was completely bare, my feet a wet cold and pushing pain up into my calves from the spikes in the conveyer, my body completely erect and jerking forward. I and the masses had been stripped down to nothing - jerking forward still, looking onward. Ahead in the machinery, the mouths of the humans would open after passing through the first set of blades, no screams, just opening only to hear a perfect A note projected at speaking voice level from the diaphragm. …each one of them singing in unison as they sprayed the walls with the color of their souls. It was my turn. The blades drilled in and I could feel every nerve in my shoulders (flesh, muscle tissue, bone matter, muscle again and then flesh) sending surges of pain and alert up to my brain - the detachment was swift, but it seemed timeless. My heart began to pound as I watched my limbs fall to the floor and spasm, urine running down my legs to again evoke the stinging sickness in my feet. I was twitching onward when what was reminiscent of some sort of disaster alarm began to sound loudly within the walls of my skull. Before I knew what I was doing, I had somehow managed to pull one of my feet from the spiked belt and then the other. I stepped off the belt and onto the thick, sticky floor to the side. I was staggering and hemorrhaging with no arms to balance - I was frightened and began to weep in E minor. I staggeringly jerked my way out through the entry of the fate maker - I was still sliding, and my feet were bleeding. I couldn’t see well through the coloured spots and all I could do in a desperate attempt to warn was sing in E minor to the zombified onlookers. Every nerve in my body aching and screeching, I didn’t want to bleed to death, I just wanted it over or I wanted someone to save me. I opened my eyes as wide as I could when I approached what I thought was finally a door. I could see light and I thought for fraction of a second that this would be the divine luminary that would come to collect me.

I concentrated hard through the blood rushing in my ears, I focused, I realized I was standing in front of a window but I judged that I must have been about nine stories up. I could hazily make out steel wreckage below. I sang louder and smashed my head through the window, bent over the broken glass and tried to force my body through. The sharp intruding shards that slid so sweetly and easily into my stomach were holding me hostage. I lifted my legs up and back down again, inhaled and sang. I lifted my legs up again hard and I could feel my captor crackle and break off inside me. The wind caressed my wet face for one second. I closed my eyes as tightly as I could to hide from the light, and then I woke up gasping and crying.
