Asian Bird Flu
You might think that this is a political entry, but you are wrong.
Right now i am in Taiwan. There haas been a couple cases of Asian bird flu here. There is nothing that anyone is doing differently....except eating.
This has to be my 6th time here, and the worst part of this trip is ALWAYS the food. Most of the time I get around this on things that I know I like. One of these things is comparable to Kung Pao Chicken in the states. Since there is this Asian Bird Flu here, it is not recommended to eat any birds of any kind. So that leaves beef. The first time that I was here, they did not have US beef because of mad cow disease, so they had Australian beef, which is fine except that it has a different after-taste, and a different smell. A smell that I do NOT like.
This has definately made it hard to eat.
Oh well, I get back in the states on Friday afternoon. I think that i will have a juicy burger then.....cant wait.
