The Pope croaked. I don’t see what the big deal is. He’s just a man. What is his relevance to my life? None. What has the Pope done for me? Nothing. RIP, Pope - I have no problem saying that, but I think the Pope is over-rated. At least for a non-Catholic like myself.
Been doing some reading on the energies and powers of crystals. Skeptics are quick to say science doesn’t support crystal healing. But science does agree that crystal is an amplifier and resonator of energy, and science also agrees that we as humans have energy and emit vibrating energies constantly, so one can naturally come to the conclusion that our energy will interact with crystal energies when in contact. Personally I can only deduct that there must be truth to the benefits of crystals and our health, albeit spiritual or physical. It bothers me that many people fall prey to the ideology that “if science can’t prove it, it must not be true.” So many things are instantly pegged as “wacko beliefs” or whatever - it’s almost like society aims to prevent people from becoming truly enlightened by imposing certain thought patterns from birth. At any rate, on a similar note I’ve read a lot lately (and discussed with others) about the power of thought and I really think that we should train ourselves to think positively and to belief in our thoughts. We do have control of our lives, of what we want to happen, and it all starts with what we think about. People just don’t suddenly hurl themselves off of a bridge - that comes after long periods of thinking about it. The thoughts affect our mental state, and our mental state lends itself to action. So if we think about positive things it will lend itself to positive actions.
At any rate, I want to look into this whole crystal thing a bit deeper - would be quite interesting to see if I could notice any effects from the presence of a good crystal. I’ll have to look into that.
