Lie-berry

I am so very much at the Library (lie-berry, as it were) on a Saturday morning. Oh yes, my friend, I am here.

I've decided that if I'm not going to be eating all day (Yom Kippur), I might as well not have any fun, either (of a non-academic variety, at any rate). Besides, this way I can make sure I'll have plenty of time to have fun tonight (movie, beer, and pizza at the Baghdad Theatre, or maybe the Laurelhurst) and all of tomorrow (Mabel's, general silliness, lots and lots of tasty food that does not come from Commons....all that fun stuff). So yay for me.

Somehow, this year I've rarely felt like I'm working too hard or I'm not getting enough rest time. Maybe because I don't feel like the work I've been doing is useless? Maybe because my reading speed (at point of comprehension) has increased probably twofold (well, a lot) out of necessity, as I'm taking an English class and two Histories ('Special Topics: WWI' and 'Sex, Crime & State in Modern Europe').

The one thing I do wish is that I had more time to see friends who don't live on campus. I never get to hang out with Kayu anymore, and I really miss him. I've got to work on that. Also, I feel as though the muscles in my shoulders and neck have fused to my spine and scapulae and it may take laser-surgery to remove them and get them back in proper working order.

D'accord, c'est tout.

Oh yeah. I think I'm going to NY for part of Fall Break. Yeah. Weird.
