just like the old days
so during these past few days I caught up with some peoples I hadnt seen in quite a while. Its been a while, but it wasnt that I was avoiding them, its just these guys prefer to pike on ya. guessed my company yet? :p
I'd been hanging out to see Mean Girls for weeks! On friday night finally went out to watch it and it was great! hot chicks! HOTTT! Saw it down at Eastland with Rossco, Vic and Jess. Went in to see Jess at her work. I hadnt been in this store before, its some hippy insence selling shop. And she has to wear this gypsy shit hah. The other chick that was working there was like, real bad, sickly bad. Had a sort of half head undercut, with her hair in a pony tail on top showing her shaved back of head. yuk!
Rossco picked up some clothes for himself from y.D. Then he asked for my opinion of the stuff, I told him 'you wear it well, but the design is wayyy too generic'. And what would you know, almost straight after he showed what he bought, I noticed a dude with the same jacket walking past hahah.
After the moofie we all went into the Pancake Parlour. Had something to eat and got to catch up on all the goss!
... Rick is such a girl! You know how girls can just turn a friendship around and absolutely hate eachother over some sort of trivial bullshit, for example 'she didnt say goodbye to me when I left the party' anyway... earlier in the week jess and vic had an apparent fallout. And it was all Rick's doing! He acted like a biatch! telling both the girls what they said about eachother behind their backs hahah the nasty stuff with exaggeration of course. It was real funny at the time cause it was so much like the moofie heh. Then Vic went on about her new $200+ hair - ross and myself didn't notice the difference till she pointed it out hah. Does look nice though. Then she's all 'hey carl your hair is getting long now' and I'm like 'yeah I straightened it today too' and the girls are like 'OMG REALLY?!!' and ross is like 'err.. whats that?' hah. But what a bombshell it was :s why is it so hard to believe that I own a flat hair iron and know how to use it? others ask me to do their hair as well, even my mum does :| so then they all told me they like my hair long and I prefer it long, but its kinda wierd since they all told me they like it short after I shaved it off - was even told that should be 'my look' :\ Guess I can work any look lol. but I get told the blonde is a keeper. Saturday night and I joined ryan, rick, julian and rossco (and his army buddies) at the Elephant Wheelborrow Pub in the city. What a shithole! The night was kinda meant to be like throwback to the old highschool days. But I only came to recognise that I just can't do the pub scene. First off people there dress like... 'just normal casual everyone wheres the same jeans and a t-shirt with some printed word design' clothes without accessory! ...where's the tjuz? I was even told for the first time ever(!) to remove my hat (the one in the profile pic). I can't understand how a place such as that can pretend to have class and enforce a no hats dresscode... get with the funk already! Its not as if its a footy team coloured beanie with pom-pom - though that'd prolly be right on in that place :\ So I had some drinks, bacardi and coke - do it, do it - only to now realise that booze isnt all it was once cracked up to be. Departed just after 2am and onn the way home we done the once traditional 'maccas run'.
To end the week, just had a quiet time to chill. Woke up monday morning still feeling nicely relaxed and so chucked on some ltj and just reclined on my sofabed till lunch.
Tuesday is my mums bday \o/ I still haven't prepared anything heh :$ the homemade birthday card is probably the way to go. its a bit of a copout but mothers love em :D theres the family dinner of course, as is always done. Forget which restaurant its at this time but fine dining is always nice.
