Reunited.
i met up with my highschool best bud Joanna last Tuesday for some major bonding session. i haven't seen her for the longest time, and i'm very excited to see her again. we went to Makati. we ate lunch first at Chef D' Angelo. we had their sample platter, (pizza, pasta, and that BIG BIRD CHICKEN! hahaha) and we weren't disappointed. their BIG BIRD CHICKEN really is BIG!
after lunch, we strolled for a while. went to Powerbooks for some "window shopping" haha. I'm sad thay still don't have "Last Order sa Penguin". i swear i've been to a thousand Powerbooks branch and the book's always sold out! grrrrr. then, we headed to Starbucks. we had a lot of catching up to do. I had a Grande Americano. (mahaba habang inuman at usapan 'to) and stayed there forever. hahaha. sa sobrang dami ng kwentuhan, we forgot the time.
it's already 6:00 so we decided to eat dinner na. i promised to treat her, so we decided to go to Gilligan's to continue our chat over some booze. but unfortunately, they had this problem with their air conditioning, we decided to eat someplace na lang. Joana, suggested Kaya, this Korean resto at Glorietta. we were about to head na when i remembered Pau, our other friend who's working in Alabang. we've been texting her since afternoon to follow us in Makati after work, but her schedule was just too packed. so we agreed on surprising her instead. Joan and I decided to go to Alabang, and texted Pau. YEHEY! i was so happy seeing those two.
we went to Lasa! Manila, and continued our chikahan over beer and sisig. hay. i was so happy. i kept telling them that i really had a great time and we should do it more often. we decided on watching ZsaZsa Zaturnnah on the 18th. that will be their first and my 10th (i guess) time watching it. i'm so excited to share with them, something that's been making me happy. i'm sure they'll love Ze Muzikal.
and yeah, we all love Sitti!
and yeah, tomorrow's Joan's birthday, so...
