The illustrious Spore has translated Chapter Four of Children of Bottle here. I really should have noted this development sooner, but ah well. Apologies, and there it is. (Spoilers in the comments I suppose.)
On an absolutely unrelated note, a guy I'm sort of loosely acquainted with overheard me summarizing the 1930 plotline of Baccano! to a friend (said friend started the anime on my recommendation, decided not to finish it because the violence upset her, but wanted to know how it ended), and now if I so much as mention the title he tells me to stop going on about "soul-sucking vampires and Isaac Newton and some guy whose right hand comes from a demon". (He heard me use the name Isaac, and I explained "eating" as soul-sucking, so yeah...) He refuses to actually watch the show on the grounds that no show with so small a number of episodes can be good in his opinion, but I think he'd like it if he did.
