Krow - Week 12 - The Torrisi Family

It's been a looonnng time since I've updated this quickly, but I have motivations: I have a bunch of other games (literally a pile of like eight or nine other titles) to play and I'm procrastinating them by playing TS2 and making updates - which so far is working very well. So here we are, with a Torrisi update!



(Quick note: I like their house a lot.)

First things first, this household used to be an ISBI. Then I fell in love with this generation's couple (specifically Alec) and couldn't bear wasting them to autonomy. So now it's just a normal household; I may go back to an ISBI next generation.

After a fairly horrible birthday (being rejected by his first crush, mother dying and brother moving out all within hours of each other), Marcus hunted extensively until he found mister Alec here.



The infant here is their daughter Angelica, born at the very end of the previous rotation.





Alec sneakily got himself pregnant too, literally the one and only time they woohooed after Marcus became pregnant last week. Sneaky jerk. Anyways, he chose the most unflattering of the already unflattering neon selection of manternity defaults I have. I liked the defaults when I first got them, but at this point I am very tired of the neon colours (esp since my game is not a neon one) and now I'm very keen to find an alternative set. Or just go back to the originals, that may not be terrible.









So far, they are making a very good team. Of course, after the Bruty household anything is as smooth as butter, but everything is nice and co-ordinated and yay. C:



I gave the house a proper backyard. Perhaps should have waited until the last day of the rotation, given my own construction rule, but I don't really care too much. Anyways, it's not heavily landscaped but I like it all the same. There's plenty of room for the kids to run around, and a small garden for the family. Alec is currently eating two plates per meal just to keep him satiated, so I think it's due, lol.













It's a boy! This is Phillip, with his grandfather's skintone/hair and his birth-father's eyes.

Alec, however, was so tired that the first thing he did was give Phillip to Marcus and topple into bed.



I would almost certainly do exactly the same thing.







Birthday time for Angelica was on the same day. She's going to be so pretty.









Both the lads are now on birth-control, because I'm having a pretty massive population growth already and I really don't need any more Torrisis. >_>





This is so easy after dealing with the Bruty house. -_-





I got so tired of spending all my time feeding them that I got the most expensive fridge and most expensive stove. Alec set the stove on fire not long after, but it survived.





I GOT A MAID

Technically I could get one once I hit a population of +500 (my population is now +1000) but I completely forgot, because I was so used to things being inaccessible. So now I have one and it is GLEEFUL. ;~; I depend on maids so much omg everyone is going to have one immediately















Phillip grew up. :D He has elf ears just like his sister, and has above-average personality points in every category except neatness, where he has a whole two points. :/ I prefer Angelica's stats - she's above-average in everything except playfulness, which makes for a sim that's pretty easy to keep content. I love my serious sims.

Oh, and this is a thing that happened. :/



Good ol' TS2, traumatising players since ...2002? Funny thing is though, whenever those two knock their ACR boots, they always do it on a couch, never the bed. Personal kink?









Alec was having aspiration problems, so I sent him off to Jackalope Grocery to socialise for a little bit and Meet Someone New. He ended up introducing himself to the lovely dame Kelly Patchwork, who is rocking her elder stage like no-one else. He eventually came home, returning to Marcus &co.









Angelica grew up on the last day of the rotation, much to my pleasure. She aged up with high green aspiration and came with 2 charisma and 2 logic points. Her OTH is music & dance, so I decided to go all out on her room. (Fortunately the house is big enough that she will never have to share with Phillip; something not every kid of mine has the joy of experiencing.)



If you pop over to the Week 11 Torrisi update, you'll see how this room used to be: blue and orange, with two beds and some sofas, rather plain if a pretty colour combo. I wanted something with a personality reflecting hers, so I went with something slightly saccharine and a little dancy. (Kinda already decided she's going to be a Ballerina.) It was fun working with the softer palette of colours, and I quite like the layout - though of course, the presence of the dance bar in her room means the door is going to be permanently locked to allow her only. I know those darn things are sim magnets.

When Phillip grows up he'll get the yellow nursery room, redecorated to suit him, of course.

After that was all taken care of, Angelica went back downstairs to get started on her creativity skill points.





And my final comment for the rotation is thus: Marcus has a very peculiar face. idek.
