Try it over here. Here, people are like SERIOUS about it. Most Japanese people can carry a tune pretty well, and if they can't they'll pay by the hour at a karaoke booth to PRACTICE until they do. Me, I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. I can only have fun at Karaoke if I'm with a bunch of other people who can manage to find it amusing to try a song and butcher is ruthlessly.
