So I am in the queue to have my taxes done by the free (and therefore swamped) byu tax lab, and since I will likely be spending some quality time here, I thought I might borrow a 'puter and update.
Now, the most interesting thing I have to report is the rather bizarre and macabre dream I had last night. Essentially the dream involved some really bad people setting off some sort of huge explosion in the middle of the ocean which caused all of California to be hit by massive tidal waves thousands of feet high.
I spent most of my time in the dream saving people by teleporting them to high ground. I even saved a traveling wild animal preserve. It was made up of rare and exotic species, so I felt it was my civic duty. That, and the zoo keeper was cute and refused to leave them.
I then got to high ground myself, and watched from a distance as San Diego was obliterated. It was pretty gruesome; I was miles away hiding with a group of people in a house, and yet bodies (and body parts) were thrown far enough that they were landing all around us. Death and dying all around. Rolling heads. You get the picture.
At some point in the dream I also defeated the bad guys, but the details on that were a bit sketchy.
So yeah. Then I woke up. It was such a vivid dream that I wanted to write a book about it or make a movie. Then I started becoming more conscious and realized that A) nobody would find it interesting, and B) I didn't find it interesting either, other than the fact that I had such a bizarre and twisted sequence of events happen in my sleep.
So, what can we learn from this? Sean's psyche is rather twisted as his unconscious dreams clearly demonstrate. That, and from past dreams, I seem to have some fixation on the apocalypse. You guess is as good as mine on that one.
Grr... they still haven't called my name. If I think of anything else interesting to write, then I will update again.
