10 hours of ac comp...
sooooo tired after ac comp. Went to edison at 8 in the morning, had a quick practice, and then we were off to UCLA at 8:30. Kha and I rode with gary.... very interesting drive. never made so many lane changes in a 2 minute period in my life. I think we got to 10?11?12? ya, an interesting drive none the less. Got there at 9:50 after hitting massive traffic around LAX(i dunno about u, but i never like being on a freeway that starts with 6 lanes and merges down to 2...). Once we got there we went to Ackerman Union, which the tournament instructions told us to, and once we were there, they end up telling us to go to Bounche Hall, lol which is so effin far, and ironically was where i had my committee a year earlier,(lots of bad memories). We played 12 matches, and won our first 11, and should have one our 12th but ya, we got gayed, and we did kinda play sac cause it didnt matter, cause the nearest team had three losses. So ya we ended up winning the whole tournament, Kha did really well, he was top scorer in the tournament, i finished 5th overall in scoring, and jackie got 11th overall in scoring out of a hundred odd kids, so not a bad showing for our first tournament. Capistrano Valley got second, Hart got third, Dana Hills got fourth, Los Al got some low rank, and I dont remember the rest. Ya tournament ended at like 630, got down to parking lot at like 7, got home at 8:30, hit traffic again, and now i am dead tired.. these tournaments like fry my brain. I probably made lots of spelling and gramatical errors, but o well.
