Fios is now available at my address! The Fios Internet page says it's available, but the TV page hasn't updated (for some reason they did different pages for each - but I've been checking very regularly). I know that Fios was approved for TV and Internet for my whole town, so I should be able to get both (I've also talked to Fios sales people who confirmed that also). I can't wait to get rid of Comcast, and I can't wait for Fios. We'll pay less money, get more chanels, get HD, get on demand (yes, I have a really shitty Comcast package, and it still costs more than what the new and improved Fios package will cost). Of course, I rarely actually watch the TV, but that's part of what makes the lower cost appealing. I haven't decided if a DVR is worth it - I'm sure I'd use it, but I'm not sure that's a good thing.
