(no subject)
Okay, my little son is almost 14 months old and he is such a little gentleman. People keep telling me, "wait until he turns two!" Well, they said the same thing about "when he starts crawling" or "when he starts walking, he'll be into everything!"
Well, he's not. He's wonderful. And thanks to Babywise, I feel like I can predict that he will above average when he turns two as well.
But I find myself making excuses for his GOOD behavior! The other day I was at the grocery store check-out and he reached up to press the buttons on the card reader. I said, "please don't touch," and he just put his hand down and grinned at me.
The check-out girl asked me to take her child for a few days. Very flattering right? Well, I responded with, "well, he's only one. I'm sure he'll be horrible when he's two." Even though I know he won't!
Why do I do that?
