cross-posted to julielHannah still isn't sleeping properly. I took her to the chiropractor on Thursday, and she got a treatment, and did sleep all night that night

Strange, my daughter who is of a similar weight and age is classed as failure to thrive, and as she started in a previous post, the Dr also said her baby was FTT.
Yeah, so smart that she's in here with her FTT baby and putting it on a longer schedule. Cause that's sane.
Damn right I don't agree with babywise. I fail to get it. Maybe it's just my various mental disorders shining through, but I don't get why anyone would want to do it, or feel the need to.
Why would you train a child, like you would a dog? Why can't you hold your child all day and make them feel secure about everything. Feed them when they are hungry. Don't throw a shitfit because they stop sleeping through the night. THEY ARE BABIES, ffs. That is what babies _do_.
If you can't handle a baby, and have to leave it to CIO because you don't want to have to deal with them during the night, then fucking hell, don't have a kid.
Um, then why was she posting saying that she let her CIO for up to 2 hours every night? When she was already failing to gain adequate weight and was obviously hungry? She has posted many posts saying this.
I have three kids, none of them have ever CIO, and none of them have ever got over tired, my eldest two sleep through the night, and my 10 month old nurses before I go to bed [WITH HER] at midnight. And you know what? I didn't need to 'train' my kids like they were animals to get that.
Oh, and she also said such gems like 'She woke up in the middle of the night and I let her CIO for an hour before finally giving in and nursing her and then she nursed like she was starving!'
Er.. Perhaps that's because she was starving?
Since when is a baby waking up at night to eat an inconvenience?
