a question for hotsling users.
i had a hotsling when my daughter was brand new, it was a gift. i loved it but it was the wrong size (3 and i needed a 4), so i sold it on craigslist. anyways, fast forward to one year later. i am a beco fanatic and i also love our maya wrap, but as much as i like it, i want something that doesn't adjust...like a pouch.
anyways, the question. i tried on a size 4 at a local store with my daughter on my hip. the fit was perfect, but it seemed like we wouldn't have much room to grow. however, i really don't see her (or myself) growing much. she is 25 lbs and about 31, 32 inches, and i'm 140 lbs with an E cup, in size medium tops. from now on she'll be getting taller but not chunkier, i think. SO, with a pouch do i want a really snug fit? do we need a little more wiggle room? how much more room should we have? i think if i get a size 4 it will be great for the next baby (2010 i hope) and perhaps size 5 will be TOO big. i don't want it to pull on me, as she's a heavy girl. i just really want the quick hip sling option that the pouch offers....and i have a gift card to target i thought i could use for this :) what do you guys find is best for pouch sizing?
thanks!
