Staying warm outside in the cold?

Hello all! I'm new, at least to here (but looking through some of the older posts to this comm, I'm seeing a lot of familiar "faces" *waves*). While I had aspirations of baby wearing when I was pregnant, I have to admit we got to a really slow start. I had purchased a Balboa sling while my son, Finn, liked it the first wear, he hated it ever

I also just remembered that when I was shoveling snow and he was small I would put him on my back under one of my husband's jackets. Not the best solution, but it was effective. And because I can't resist:

I don't have very many good pictures from the first year because my husband was deployed, but I hope those help.

IN the 13 month one he is no in the best position but that is because he was throwing a fit in the sling because we were done sledding and he was exhausted and he passed out mid tantrum. :)

I wish I could edit comments! None of those jackets are maternity jackets. The red one and the white one are my regular size but the brown one is a little too big.
