I'm taking a break from abmsubs til exams are over. We timers/typesetters have to do a test for them to separate us into timers or typesetters. Or something like that. There are about 200+ lines which we have to typeset .. that is enough to kill me if I were to do it now. I simply do not have time to typeset 200+ lines AND we are encouraged to use gradient. That will really take up too much of my time so I will leave that til after exam. I haven't done any project for 2oneday since the short jay clip which was a few weeks ago. I will keep looking out for any short projects and I'll be sure to sign up if there are any. I love both jobs and obviously I am closer to abmsubs although I have been part of it since November '09 as opposed to 2oneday which I have been part of for quite a while. Regretfully I have to admit that I don't really talk to anyone on the team except maybe Stacy and someone else whom I posted a comment on her livejournal. I hope to be friends with more of them soon.
The 1st week of exams are over and there are 2 weeks to go. I'm gonna work on the topics that Terry mentioned and maybe tomorrow I will study physics and/or biology. On Sunday I have to spam all the moral values . xD
This week we had BM, English, History and mod Maths. I screwed BM and History. Even with accurate tips for history, I didn't have time to finish studying all the topics properly. Like for the Aqabah topic, I read that sometime last week and I kept telling myself to reread it to refresh my memory. I couldn't even answer simple questions regarding Madinah , the one where they asked which 2 suku kaum Madinah were involved with Nabi Muhammad. Aus and Khazraj. I saw that question and immediately went 'FML. How can I not know the answer to this. Fuck it. T__T' The essay part was not that bad, I just wrote whatever I knew although some facs are wrong. I just hope that I can get 60 and above although it seems that chances are pretty slim. Oh well. I was never good at history.
I'm setting up a new system for myself. I plan to change my desktop wallpaper every month and my ringtone. I changed my ringtone today to After School's Bang [message] and MBLAQ's 4 Ya' stereo [incoming call]. So this will last from 100521 - 100621. I am not sure when I will change my desktop wallpaper. I might change it to one of the skullcandy wallpapers that I downloaded but I still really like my custom made Joon wallpaper. Its simple and nice.
I have a couple of things lined up for this weekend. Tomorrow we are going to Marriot Putrajaya for hi - tea , sponsored by Jackie/RS. Plus I need to fix my Polo Club watch and replace the battery of my Elle Studio watch.
MBLAQ made their comeback this week with the release of their single , Y followed by the full album and MV. Their comeback stages on MNET M Countdown and KBS Music Bank were strong. I love the choreography although I still don't get the 'give it to my y' part. Rain says that the meaning of the music video and song is left up to our own interpretation. I sort of get the video except for the plane ticket part. With all due respect for Seo Hyo Rim , I personally think that Joon deserves a better [prettier??] girl than her. The kiss scene made me cringe , not in jealousy but pity for Joon as someone that hot should really get together with someone equally hot. Its really funny how they cover up most of her face in the video to avoid attacks from antis. And yet SeungHo is dropping really obvious hints on his ME2DAY. Maybe SeungHo doesn't care much for antis which is a good thing. He is one of the most responsible leaders in idol groups. The short fight scene between him and Joon kind of scared me but it was pretty cool to watch. Hyo Rim is much more suited for Song Joong Ki out of him, Sangjun and Joon. Those 2 look really cute together. Isn't it funny how all 3 guys contain 'joon' in their name? I love Cheondung's transformation for Y. He is so damn good looking. And I think his voice suits singing more than rapping. I still think his rap voice is kind of annoying. Jtune producers and Cheondung oppa,please leave the rapping to Mir oppa. thank you. G.O aka ByungHee looks great without his beard/mustache. I can't help but think of him when I see Jang DaeHan on tv and vice versa. For some reason I seem to automatically connect them both when I look at either one of them.
The other day Air Asia published their ad in the Star newspaper and Mum went to click on their website to check out the flights and stuff. She was thinking of making a trip to Singapore in June , and I suggested Hong Kong , you know, just to see how the prices are like. Its quite cheap in some aspect. There is a package which costs about +-1.5k which includes flight and accommodation for 4-5 nights. The next 2 days she thought that we could stay with Greg for a few nights if we really went to HK. THat would save us some cash. I really love these 2 cities. Although both are relatively close to Malaysia, I am very attracted to both cities. I loved HK since my last trip there about 8 years ago. I can't believe its been that long since I last went there. wow. My interest in Singapore sprouted because of our trip there late last year. Although its only 1 hour away by plane and we actually went there by bus, it was still the best holiday I've had so far. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that it was just me , amah , and jw. Plus uncle harry and aunty lucy were there to add to the fun. It was 7 full days of freedom , and we could literally do whatever we wanted , we just chilled at cyber cafes and malls , hanging around Orchard road and stalking the hot white guy. That is 1 trip that will stay in my heart for a very , very long time. With the addition of Universal Studios , Singapore is more action packed and it would be great to go there as this is the nearest Universal Studios theme park to us. I'm sure it is nothing short of awesome, after all you can't possibly go wrong with Universal Studios.
We kind of made a pact that we will make a trip down to Sg after SPM but I wonder if it will work out. You know how it is with these things, easier said than done and all that. But a bunch of our friends managed to go there last year so why can't we? It will be a real blast to go there with the Lifeless, Syiok Sendiri and Sampat gang. Our last year of high school. Lets make the most out of it. This year the presents which I got for my close friends are kind of special. I tried to get something meaningful or something which they really like , since this is our last year together. Thats why I cant just randomly give Samantha some necklace. Just wait a little while more til I find something better, sorry for the super lateness yeah.
American Idol Season 9 has been quite a fun ride. I love the 'nickelback/male version of taylor swift' Casey James. He is pure sexyback and he can carry a really sweet tune. Same goes for Crystal Bowersox, she totally created her own genre of music. Everything she sings is so original , like nothing you usually listen to. And it sounds pretty darn good. And lo and behold , Lee DeWyze. Quote from someone on twitter 'Lee DeWyze is a combination of DNA taken from David Cook and Danny Gokey' I completely agree with that statement. He is a fantastic singer and Simon truly likes him. You've got to trust Simon , although he is a hypocrite, bias, you name it, the dude knows what he is talking about most of the time. He is spot on in cases like Lee though. I am sure Simon is rooting for Lee . He would like to see Lee win in his final season as a judge on Idol, so he will retire felling like he accomplished something and whatnot. All the best to Lee and Crystal , may the best artist win. In any case, you are already winners since you have reached the Top 2. FIGHTING !
