Fundraising help!
So my boys at Evil Squirrel Comics are sponsoring the Nick and Kelly Meet n Greet in Chicago this year. This is huge for ESC. A great opportunity for advertising for the little shop. And y'all know I ♥ my boys! plus, as the token girl of ESC... this is something I'm proud to be a part of too!
You guys also know that I love these meet and greets. Have had the pleasure of attending a couple and they are a lot of fun! This one, I hear, will be KARAOKE. Yeah, you read that right... karaoke with the twins. :)
Back to the shop... ESC is my favorite comic shop. in part cuz I love the boys. But also because it is a very friendly little shop that feels like somewhere to hang out and get your geek on. If they don't have it, they'll order it. I spend a lot of time there when I visit Chicago! But it is a small shop. Shawn pretty much does everything. Brian helps out (he has another job, too). And I think they have an employee who works like one day a week to give Shawn a day off. So... little shop! And this sponsorship will do so much for the shop! But it's not cheap. So anything you can spare... any little bit you want to share... IT IS APPRECIATED MORE THAN I CAN SAY!
