Totally random moments in the BSC =]
I was re-reading Kristy and the Mother's Day Surprise, and towards the end there is this part where they are working on a card/banner/cookies to welcome Emily Michelle home. Dawn randomly begins to hum the tune to the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and sings the lyrics wrong.
She sings "the girl with colitis goes by", and Sam corrects her and says "it's the girl with kaleidoscope eyes".
Everyone acted like it was the weirdest thing though, for her to be singing that song.
Anyway, there's really no point to this other than I thought it was just SO random and seemed out of place to what was going on. =]
I guess it's just Dawn being original and different again.
What other things seemed random and somewhat out of place that you remember reading in a BSC book?
P.S. I'll admit that I went and searched to see what "colitis" was (cause it sounded vaguely familiar) and this is what I found:
Colitis is a chronic digestive disease characterized by inflammation of the colon.
