Kristy's Portrait

I'm reading Kristy's Portrait, and this pops out at me. There's a plot device that involved Patrick giving her a catcher's batt. Only problem? She's a lefty and he gave her a righty. I can't remember if her leftiness is mentioned in any other books, so it's a bona fide piece of infomation.

Is it me or are you surprised that Kristy is a leftie? I always saw Claudia as the left handed one.

Small detail I know, but I'm a sucker for those.
