mallory pike as... ashlee simpson??
i decided to do something a little different that we might all be able to enjoy.
every now and then, a celebrity will really make me think of one of our beloved BSC members (or how our BSC members would be all grown up.) it could be the way they look, something they say, fashion... anything.
my first celebrity comparison:
mallory pike vs. ashlee simpson
reason #1: the hair
- ashlee has gone from blonde to dark to blonde to red to strawberry blonde and so forth. she's had long, short, extensions, curly, straight etc. it could be assumed that she is just never satisfied with her look.
- mallory has been known to be quite dissatisfied with her looks. she hates her ratty curly hair, she wants to cut it, to straighten it, etc. she even going so far as to dye her hair blonde like a "california girl" in the appropriately titled super special california girls. she never seems to get over how annoying her curly red hair is (amongst other things). which leads me to...
reason #2: the nose job
- ashlee got a nose job
- mallory complains about wanting a nose job
reason #3: public humiliation
- who could forget ashlee's humiliating turn on SNL in 2004? or being booed at the orange bowl?
- mallory dealt with massive public humiliation during her turn as a "teacher" in the students-as-teachers week at SMS, so much so that she earns the nickname "spaz girl" and subsequently transfers to boarding school
reason #4: sibling rivalry
- ashlee may be an "artist" in her own respect, but her entire career, she's always been in jessica's shadow.
- mallory has seven brothers and sisters to compete with. she never really gets to be seen as an individual, even though she's the oldest.
it has also been said that ashlee has a horse mouth and we know that mallory likes to pretend she's a horse sometimes.
all in all, neither one seems to ever be happy with themselves, especially in terms of appearance. both seem extremely insecure to me, but hey, that's just my opinion.
so, what do you think?

*disclaimer* i am not, in any way, an expert on mallory pike and/or ashlee simpson. i am also not really a fan of either of them. and i do not think that, under any circumstances, mallory pike would ever date and/or mate with and/or marry a tool like pete wentz. although i never have met ben hobart, so i can't properly judge. :/
