YES! It took my mom's friend almost a year to finalize her son's adoption from Russia. And even then, she still had to go there to get him. Watson and Elizabeth it was done awfully quickly when they got Emily Michelle.

The whole adoption of Emily Michelle seemed pretty screwy. I know there was a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff but I always thought that social workers came to talk to the kids who'd be getting a new brother and sister and check out the house etc. But then again Watson *IS* a millionaire!
