I was flipping through one of my mother's Diabetes magazines and saw The Truth About Stacey mentioned in a section titled
Diabetes In Fiction.
Here's the little blurb written about it:
The Baby-Sitters Club: The Truth About Stacey by Ann M. Martin
It’s accurate-mostly. You’ll probably cringe when Stacey’s friends snack on candy while Stacey’s diabetes dooms her to eat crackers.
I haven't read the re-released version of book 3 yet. Did they revise the explanation of the limitations of her diabetes in it?
