Would Claudia wear this???
I've been going crazy with my old scrap clothes bag and I've been thinking of Claudia while doing so.
My newest creation is T-SHIRT VESTS--old t-shirts with the cap-sleeves cut off and a big line cut down the middle separating the two sides, so it is now a vest. I wore one today. It used to be an old Nike athletic shirt with all all-over graphic applique. Now it is a vest. I then took my Tekgear "digital flower" graphic tee and gave it the same treatment. I wore the sky-blue Nike t-shirt vest with a gold sleeveless glittery tunic, navy blue spandex leggings, and a cherry-red belt tied around the tunic. This struck me as something Claudia would do, and I thought of Claudia saying "I looked just like a sunset!" when she wore the yellow pants with the pink shirt. I looked just like a Christmas present xD So, would Claudia wear t-shirt vests, do you think?
Also, I was reading What Claudia Wore and found a mention of her wearing a "necklace" made out of tied-together strips of fabric from old shirts. I had some old formalwear fabric I never used lying around in my Closet Abyss and decided to try it. I found some golden floral fabric with spangles on it and cut ribbons out of it, then tied them together to make the resulting fabric strip necklace. (:
Finally, I came up with an idea today when I found an old printed nightgown. I decided hey, why not cut it down into a tunic? Again, thought of Claudia. Do you think Claudia would cut a nightgown up and wear it as a tunic?
