Makes me wish I read BSC during high school when my anxiety was at its peak. They would've been very cathartic.

I don't have Mary Anne's crippling shyness though. I'm quite an extrovert (:

I honestly think she does have one. They should have been more open about it in some of the books. Anxiety disorders weren't really something being focused on in my youth (there was more information concentrating on depression, easting disorders, etc. being targeted to teens), but anxiety disorders are very common and it could have been really helpful to kids, including myself.
