Day 2 of my vacation...
Friday went very well at work. Patti even took a pic of me working at the desk. Only took 15 years, they have many albums of past staff bbqs at Bernice's house and Ronalea's but I was always at work and couldn't join in the bonding. Someone has to work ; did they ever notice NOPE!! And then there were some christmas parties but I also wasn't involved cuz my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and being with her was piority...once again I never bonded...I got a card from the staff...My boss asked me a few weeks back she feels I am angry....deny deny deny...I guess Patti's sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and turning the other cheek is very hard!! Anyways I have 10 days off...Took in the Stampede and was it ever hot but I was so thrilled to watch the boys at the petting farm...we sung Old Macdonald's farm and fed the goats...baaa! We managed to stay longer than I expected so I encouraged us to stay and watch the fireworks that was the best. The boys faces light up with each and every loud boom. This is what makes me happy and being able to leave the hassles of work alone...It is only politics!!
Yesterday I got some of the branches cleaned up from the storm the weekend before...the grass is burnt in places!!! Mom is hanging in there and so will I.
