I (nearly) forgot Eiga-Sai T_T (but I finally ordered the NEWS DVD!)
I can finally breathe now that I got the email confirmation my order for the NEWS CONCERT TOUR pacific 2007-2008 THE FIRST TOKYO DOME CONCERT - Limited Edition *whew* that's mouthful! NEWS-friends, we can all breathe XDDD
and I can finally work properly tonight?! Cuz I knew I need to have a lot of work done but I didn’t feel like auditing earlier. For one thing, I keep refreshing Amazon’s page for that DVD (thank goodness our browser at the office doesn't block amazon but it blocks all other entertainment and social networking sites including LJ *boo*) Did it really get out of print in an hour?! Dammit! I was so paranoid! So…
I thought Eiga-Sai would be next week so I decided I’d re-check the screening times to plan already when to watch and I was surprised that it actually started last night T_T
Since the screening times are afternoon-evening, I have no other choice but to go on the weekend demo… it’s Shige’s birthday this weekend! And it’s the start of our panata for our upcoming church anniversary too.
I thought I’d try to watch as much as I can this year since IT's FREE cuz I ended up catching only one last year (The Stars Converge with Ueno Juri among others). Hopefully I’ll have the time in August to catch movies at CCP or UP.

And FYI if you’re planning to catch to catch a movie, BE EARLY cuz tickets run out fast (that’s the case in Shang though, weekend last year) and you have to get in a looong line. I remember we fell in line for the 5PM movie I think but we got tickets for the 7PM one already.
So if I’d be allowed to catch just one movie (excluding the anime), It’d be “We Shall Overcome Someday”. Aside from the great reviews I read, the cast includes Takaoka Sousuke ^^ (that’s Wakana from Rookies or the baddie from Battle Royale - hubby of Miyazaki Aoi, among many other dramas & movies). Fellow “Rookie” Koide Keisuke is also there as well as Sawajiri Erika etc. It’s a love story between a Japanese and a Korean (but they're all Japanese in the movie).
Another Japanese - Korean movie will be Linda Linda Linda. This time it includes a Korean actress - Bae Doo Na. And Kame fans might (NOT) want to watch Hanging Gardens cuz it stars Koizumi Kyoko aka Kyon-Kyon - Kame’s ex-gf XDDDDD If you’re interested in reading all the movie synopses, you can do so HERE.
The J-Pop Anime Matsuri (at Shangri-la) is still 2 weekends from now but it falls on the exact weekend of our Anniversary T_T doushio?? And I wanna watch all! Doraemon, Chibi Maruko Chan and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time the most.
Much as I want to, I think it’s still fortunate we couldn’t buy time (aside form Arashi’s album XD) ‘cuz I’m already broke as it is XDDD
