I'm actually pissed off at our broadband provider right now. We actually had no phone for the past few days or even weeks already, I don't know. And I don't care that much really cuz I don't use it. I'm perfectly fine as long as I have my internet connection. Then our landline suddenly rang this morning. Some technician confirming that our phone line has been restored. The catch? They moved something with our broadband connection and sure enough it was gone. And then he asks me to report this to the broadband department to have it restored. So I called and terrorized the poor TSR/CSA. And when I say, poor, he was really pathetic. I'm sorry... I work in a Customer Service industry, in the Quality department to be particular so my expectations are high. Anyway, what does he tell me? An incident report has been created and a technician will be dispatched, expect a TAT of 24 hours. WTF????? I swear, they shouldn't have just messed with our phonelines in the first place. On a better note though, in fairness to our provider, whenever we have problems such as this, they really do take action immediately. I'm just not too pleased of the timing that the internet was cut off. So to everyone I was talking to earlier, you now know what happened, gomen. Now, don't they dare tarnish this nice rep they've build up with me in 'repairing'... I'm still waiting for my internet connection.
