well, I am back from tour with the RWC Wind Ensemble now! we went through the states of New York and Pennsylvania from thursday afternoon until Tuesday night. I got a chance to get to know some of the people in the group better. It is so sad that this is my last year at Roberts! I choked up a lot the last day when I thought about that fact. Wind Ensemble has really become a kind of family, and I will definitely miss being around them and making music with them once I've transferred. I considered seeing if there is a way to keep playing in the Wind Ensemble even after transferring but then I realized a few things: not having wind ensemble frees up a lot of time... I can focus more on my studies, but even more significantly, perhaps I can serve God and others more.
big news: I got accepted into the Mechanical Engineering: Energy and the Environment program!!!!! Now I need to figure out my housing situation for the fall...if anyone can help me figure this out, I'd really appreciate it. I could stay at the aunt's house where I am presently, or I could stay at the other aunt's house which is a longer distance away, or if there are some girls that have either on-campus housing or off-campus housing and need another roommate, I might like to look into that.
