Help me find some cheesy, (but maybe okay), songs
I've decided that instead of using my band to do a covers album of songs that are like, wonderful to start and just paying tribute to talented artists, I'm going to take songs that are mediocre for one reason or another, and turn them into good things. Just like, any popular music that's not too new (because I stopped listening to the radio about three years ago, honestly) would be great, or 80's hair metal shit.
It should be interesting to hear your ideas, and I've got twenty-two of my own already...once I get a full list of songs, I'm going to post the songs and have people choose the ten they would most like to hear improved upon by me and my group, and based on the responses, I'll choose my list of songs to cover...and this time I'm actually going to succeed in getting something recorded and put together.
Also, if a song you've suggested ends up being recorded, it shall be dedicated/credited to you in the little CD booklet thing, which really doesn't do much, but it puts your name out there in a kinda cool way. Also...since I know this will help me get people to actually take the twenty seconds to write down a few songs they think of, you'll get a free copy of whatever gets recorded. Unless you're Dylan (which means you're in the band) or you're Kaeley (because I can't make her pay if she's paid for so much crap for me) you'll have to pay...so this could be an easy way to get a free CD from the greatest band in the world.
