quality family time
so today my sister finished her three week dance camp at Whitman. We came up here yesterday and today we got to see a little recital of all the dancers, you know to see what they have been working on for so long. It was a cute recital and I could tell that everybody had such an amazing time over the last couple of weeks. I'm happy that becca will be home now, I haven't seen her in 5 weeks which is a long time. Plus family time is alot better with all 5 of us. Even though it hasn't been all laughs this weekend. I realized that my family really doesn't get along very well, especially if not all of us are here. I don't know, I think that all of our personalities just clash alot of the time. It sucks because vacations can be a drag. But then there are times when everybody is happy and with my family those are very special because they don't happen as often. Like today, when we visited some old family friends, actually the best friend of my grandpa (mom's side). You should have seen my mom, she was so happy and the friends were so blessed to meet us today. The best friend was telling of my grandpa when they were growing up, it was so neat to hear about my grandpa as a teenager. And the guys eyes just lit up while he was telling his stories. It just makes me feel all warm inside, knowing that today my family just made two people's day probably even made their year. It was a special moment, which is why it's always good to spend some good quality family time.
