Much thanks to her for the pimping, and I will read her stories for sure XD
I'm really glad you liked this fic! I don't generally do quite so much full-on angst as a rule, but the whole situation seemed so sad to begin with and then I couldn't write myself out of the mood, haha. I had to try and figure out a way to do it so that Hyde could get the general gist of what was going on ('cos if he could understand literally nothing it would have just turned into a game of Charades), but would still be kind of lost and amazed at the new experiences.
And thank you for the metaphor compliment! Because I tend to over-use similes and metaphors and I have to constantly rein myself back... I have a couple of other short Hyde fics kicking around that just need finishing up, so hopefully I can post some more old-skool Sakura x Hyde soon! (not that I don't love Yuki and modern L'Arc to bits, but those two make SUCH a good-looking couple XD)
I've written fics much more angsty than this one... xD I thought it was beautiful. Mythology has a few angst-prone subjects. I really loved this; I liked how Hyde had no other choice than to kill people. He seemed a little indifferent, yet sad. The years made him numb because they're always lonely and the same. He didn't even get to kill for years... so... yes. I forget to mention that. I liked how you described it all. <3
I look forward to reading them! (can I add you as a friend?)
Yeah I do love a bit of angst, but it usually regresses back into my default mode, which is 'sarcastic bitch' :) I know Sakuhai is so retro, but I have trouble seeing Hyde with anyone else in L'Arc (it's always Sakura with Hyde and Ken-chan with Tetsu for me...poor Yuki never gets any XD)!
