OKAY. I turn on the Sox game, bottom of the 8th, Sox down 9-5. Go through scoreless round from both Sox and Astros. Bottom of 9th, two outs, Podsednik walked to load the bases, two outs, Iguchi up. I get excited, tell Katie.
Two pitches later GRAND SLAM! THIRD GRAND SLAM OF THE SERIES BY THE SOX!
I scream "KATIE! KATIE! KATIE! KATIE!"
Mike comes running downstairs "What?! WHAT'S WRONG?!" Hahaha. Katie comes out of her room laughing and we high five like crazy.
AWESOME.
I effing love baseball.
By the by, did I note that I have the best roommate ever? Guess who scored four tickets to Sunday's Cubs-Sox game?! KATIE DID AND WE'RE GOING!
EDIT: Someone in the sox comm noted that within the first inning the announcers called Ozzie Guillen - Ozzie Smith. Well, 9 innings later, they did it again. WTF?!
