it's (maybe no longer) the most wonderful time of the year
I leave in five days. HOLY CRAP. I still need to get something for my office holiday party (white elephant gift, under $25 -- any suggestions?), and something for each of my brothers, one of which won't tell me what he wants or even likes. :-|
In other news, my work computer's hard drive died yesterday. I was without work computer for basically 24 hours with nothing but my iPhone for work email. I felt so helpless! Just makes you realize how much of work is computer-based, especially at a computer company.
Writing yuletide and desperately trying to keep the story happy. The source material has a lot of angst, and I'm in a bit of an angsty place myself, but I'm trying to hold to the request. Love the fandom, though. LOVE.
BONUS! Just checked Weather.com and apparently there will be snow (um, flurries, but it counts!) for Christmas! \o/
