Jared *is* a bit slow in this part, I admit that freely. But then, he's in high school -- he's allowed to miss the clue bus occasionally.

If it helps your mental picture, the song Jensen sings in my head is "Desperado" down a couple steps. I didn't want to put that in the story because a) I have no idea what kids listening to country in San Antonio listen to, b) I know virtually no country music, and c) I love that song. So make of that what you will.
