on friday night, i went to this restaurant called The Caspian. It is as popular for its cuisine as its scantily clad entertainers. these little 20 year old girls who are CLEARLY not persian or even remeniscient of middle eastern trying to pass themselves off as belly dancers. wearing stilletos, mind you. For a dance form that compliments and accentuates the curves of a voluptuous body, one can imagine the preposterousness of watching these young slim, belly-less beauties swirling their curve-less bodies around the stage. What they lacked in body-shape, they attempted to make up for with long, flowing hair pieces, which they whisked around their heads with neck rolls and sharp movements of the face.
