rough day..
Had an unwelcomed surprise this morning; had some unusual bleeding. :-(
Called the OB, and the nurse said I needed to get to L&D to get evaluated. Before we got to the hospital the bleeding had stopped, thankfully, but they said they still needed to examine me to find where the bleeding was coming from.
That proved to be quite difficult. Apparently my uterus and cervix are tipped verrry far back, and they couldn't get to my cervix no matter how hard or how many times they tried. And boy, did they try hard. They had different doctors come in and give it a shot, and they tried over and over, with several different speculums. No success, but definitely a LOT of pain. I felt like a huge wimp, but I couldn't help crying. It was rough. :-(
Good news was that they didn't find anymore bleeding. I have another appointment soon, and I'm just supposed to take it easy and keep an eye on things until then. I'm so worn out from all of that, though, time for a nap.
