She may have consented to eating the fairy food, much to her private horror, but Kat still doesn't trust anyone here.

Well. Sam and Quorra are okay. Those other werewolves, too, aren't so bad. But that doesn't mean she's going to let the change happen in front of any of them. She considers just going to some small garden and decides against it- the last thing Kat needs is someone stumbling across her and accidentally getting ripped up for it.

She's just relieved she hasn't felt the pre-change illness before now. It's been long enough (she hopes) that she won't have as much trouble staying in control, so here she is, in the woods somewhere between castle and barracks, folding a pile of clothes into a blanket and leaving them at the base of a tree, at the edge of a clearing. She should be able to sniff her way back to them even if the territory is unfamiliar and kind of creepy.

Kat prefers the subways.

She undresses and leaves her dirty clothes next to the first pile, then grits her teeth and waits for the change.

Come morning, she'll be back at the tree, wrapped up in the blanket and half-asleep at the base of the tree. She'll put on clothes in a bit. The morning after the first night is always the worst one.

Murphy is in the blacksmith shop, testing out MacGyvered equipment and making sure nothing is going to break on her if she starts trying to cast herself some bullets. Not that she has a proper mold yet, or the right kinds of metals, and she's been avoiding talking to the person who might be able to provide both.

Ever since that noir bullshit, which according to Harry was the princess's doing, Murphy's been less than keen on getting help or anything else from Tempest.
