It's been a while since Kanda found the castle's exit, not that it had really been hidden in the first place. He simply didn't see the point in leaving, though - everything was comfortable and set up in here, and the only other place besides the forests that he had seen on the strange device was some sort of a shaggy fort in the middle of nowhere.
And, well, there was also the fact that there were cats. Not just any cats, but exceptionally persistent striped creatures that would follow him and stare at him reproachfully every time he was near the gate, not to mention getting in the way all the time almost as if wanting to make him trip. But that was it, really. He just found it annoying.
By now though, what was more annoying was the fact that more or less nothing was happening. And while his first introduction with the tentacle monster wasn't exactly pleasant, Kanda was getting just a little restless sitting there safely behind stone walls, being used to fights as much as he was.
And so, today he up and left. Just like that. Or, well, tried to, at least.
It was maybe fortunate that he didn't meet anyone in the hallways, not that he really thought they could stop him now that he had his sword back, and he determinedly stepped over several cats on his way towards the gate. He was going out to see how things look there, and if it's shit, he just might head back - he honestly didn't expect anyone to try and keep him. What was the use, anyway? Not like he really bothered to get acquaintanced to anyone else in the place, either.
