While it could never have been said that the cabin where the Weasley twins took up residence was ever truly quiet, this day had the signs of there a definite increase in noise. Whether it was the resounding booms that shook the building or the explosions of bright colors that shot out of the windows, something was definitely up.
Not that either twin was particularly perturbed by this development - should one chose to open the door or peer through the windows, one would find both Weasleys conversing over what looked like a small pile of identical rockets while brightly colored fireworks flittered overhead in any number of shapes and designs.
George, nearest to the window, was currently inspecting one of the rockets, occasionally prodding it with his wand and making some subtle changes to the spells already in place. A change in color, a slight shift in design, enough to change it from the original version.
Another loud bang - resulting in a scarlet and golden lion this time - erupted above their heads, complete with roaring sound effects. Fred grinned, giving it an appraising look.
"Not bad, George. Not bad at all."
