Perched up upon the roof of her cabin, a lone angel finds herself perfectly content to watch out over the people of the barracks. She's been too quiet, she knows this, and although she isn't apologetic for it she wishes that she had more reasons to speak up and make her presence known. The gala had been tiring to her, and had brought back memories of her time as a human. She misses those times, misses being Anna Milton. She knows that even though her powers are back and her Grace is restored, she can't go back to being like Castiel or Gabriel. She's neither favored by their Father nor an archangel, and that leaves her feeling that perhaps taking back her Grace had been a poor choice of action.

With no Dean here to assist, and no point in searching for her Father, Anna is rather miserable. She's just existing, and watching everyone around her form friendships and bonds, and watching as they do stupid things that get themselves hurt or killed. Anna Milton might have stepped forward to assist everyone, but Anael doesn't have any motivation or spirit left to interfere with the lives of humans. She's lost something in her months here, and isn't sure how to go about getting it back.

Without meaning to, she's become the very thing she despises so much: a statue. Cold, silent, and only ever observing.

She's desperate to get her spark back, to find a way to still be herself even without being able to lose her Grace. She supposes that she could speak to one of the Fae about taking it from her, but she doesn't want to risk the odds of not being able to protect her brothers if the need should arise. And with Castiel and Gabriel, the need will always arise.

So she stands atop her roof, and she watches and waits. What she's waiting for, she isn't all that sure. She's praying to a Father that isn't present and who wouldn't listen even if he was, hoping that something comes along to make her stop observing and start interacting once again.
