[barracks; open] Sittin' here restin' my bones, and this lonliness won't leave me alone

Castiel hasn't been in the wood long, but he already finds this place very strange.

Aside from the fact that a large number of people from his world who are dead and happen to be present here is unsettling, people seem to appear and disappear on a whim, and now there's a large amount of people who seemed to have been held hostage in a castle returning to the barracks. Add to the fact that Castiel can't seem to get anywhere that he doesn't walk to, he's mostly very ... frustrated.

He's tired. He's tired of being stuck in no-win situations. He's tired of being moved around like some kind of puppet, and he wants to go home and just end this constant battle that has been happening ever since Michael landed in the pit, but that isn't possible. At least not by any means that he has here now. That won't, however, stop him from looking.

Castiel is bouncing around the various areas of the barracks, because that's as far as he can go with any kind of accuracy, looking for any sign of some kind of weakness in the magic. He knows that he should be finding people from his home that have recently come back, check and make sure they're alright, but the only person he would really feel comfortable doing so with is Jo. Gabriel and Anna were complications he isn't ready to face yet -- too much grief and guilt. He knows that he's going to have to face them eventually, but for right now, it's simpler to avoid.

Doesn't necessarily mean that they're going to avoid him however.
